Your Grandmother probably used to tell you that breakfast was the most important meal of the day – and doctors and dietitians say that she was quite right. However, if you do not have a lot of time in the morning it can be tempting to skip it or to buy an unhealthy snack when you pick up that morning coffee to go.

Neither of these habits is very good for you though. Skip breakfast and you will lack energy all day long. Opt for a fast food breakfast and you could be consuming far more calories than you realize – for instance, did you know that there are 380 calories in one Starbucks blueberry muffin? And that is without the meat!

A healthy breakfast does not have to take too long to make though. Here are just a few quick and easy breakfast ideas that taste great and are easy to make.
